Are you strong, outgoing and passionate about raising awareness and raising funds to end hunger and poverty in South Africa and beyond?
Person-to-person volunteers work in a small team, visiting shopping malls, events and other public areas to tell other people about hunger, poverty and HPSA’s work and to encourage them to donate and/or become monthly donors. HPSA provides training and materials for person-to-person volunteers.
Please note: At this time, HPSA is only accepting person-to-person volunteers in Johannesburg and Durban. If you would like to volunteer in another part of the country, please contact us and we can discuss how to make this happen.
Volunteer where you are. Take the time to tell others around you, in your suburb, at your workplace, in your circle of friends and acquaintances or at your church, club or community group about the problem of hunger and poverty and how they can help. Community volunteers can also set up local fundraising activities to support HPSA’s mission.
We would love for you to become part of our volunteer team! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please email us for more information.
